Jess

I think you've pretty much got it covered, there!

rebecca

darling, you always astound me with these thoughts in your head. would you hate me if i did this as a meme on my blog?

Janssen

Life is too short to wait until you can can "afford" to travel.

AshleyD

Thank you so much. That was exactly what I needed to hear today.

Nicole

I got all weepy reading this because I do way too many on this brilliant list.

I would like to add that life is too short to stick to a routine just because you are comfortable.

banana

This is such a perfect, perfect list. So right on.

You sort of said this, but Life is too short to wait until you have everything exactly in place to move forward with your dreams.

Elizabeth

Oh, yes. Yes.
I was thinking of starting to watch Greek. Yes? Would I love it?
Also, I am going to steal this idea from you.

Sarah

Life is too short to be stubbornly independent.

"I skipped out on watching some of the Democratic National Convention so I could catch the season premiere of Greek."

Me, too, and it was worth it!

Kristie

You are light years ahead of me. It's taken me till my 30's to get even 1/2 of this list accomplished. But this past year has been my best year to figure it all out. Although I've had the cheep sheet thing taken care of for years.

Dianna

It amazes me that you can think of all these cool things to write about, I wish I could do that! Great post, I love it!

Kate

Life is just too short. Period.

On my blog, my tagline is "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, cocktail in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!" ~ Unknown"

I concur. Wholeheartedly.

Ashley

"... distrust the people in your life. If you don't have faith in them, let them go." This one especially spoke to me. Oye don't i need to.

Excellent list!

Rhi

...to work at a job where you're not appreciated

Raven

My list is similar to yours, I am steadily working through them.

Liz

Amen sister, A-effing-men

Rachel

...to care what other people think. it is a long journey, but ultimately, it just doesn't matter.

Someone Being Me

I totally agree even though I am on the complete opposite end of the political spectrum from you. But I promise I am waving at you from over here on the right, no farther right, keep looking, ah yes, there I am. Just kidding. I loved your list.

ali

yes. can we talk about the people who listen to music that they.don't.even.like. to look cool?
RIDICULOUS.

Emily

I love it!!!!

Moose

I feel like I should print this out and tape it to my forehead.

Cherie

Love this list and love you!

Betsy

Post Of The Day

  • Secrets
You’re only as unique as the secrets you keep. Go do something good. Go do something evil. In solitude and love, it’s beyond good and evil. Go do these things and tell no one. Let them quicken the throb of your heart and the pace of your blood and, as you become your own poem, watch who you become. People will see it in your eyes—not the content of your secrets—but the fact that you have secrets, that you know and have seen secret things. They will love you and hate you, want to possess and destroy you.
