Discovered when I cleaned off the camera card tonight. Seems to have been taken while I was out of town last week, so I'd like to believe this is his I-miss-my-Mama face, but, more likely, it's his the-flu-blows face.
Funny, again, this is ALSO how I feel every evening around 8:30 p.m. Exhausted and clutching a bottle. My bottle usually has something a tad, uh, stronger than formula, though.

Thus wraps up the weekend post that no one will ever actually read because, strangely, all bloggers adhere to a no-weekend-posting rule that I've never really understood.

I've never posted here because, well, I've been waiting for the next "delurk" day, but I couldn't wait any longer. I had to let you know that I read all your posts, weekend or not. Your posts always provide me with a pick me up (because your son is adorable) and I appreciate your honest, no BS version of how life truly is for you (as well as most of us who refuse to admit it). Thank you for that.

I never understood the no-weekend-posting rule! And I'm leaving this comment to prove that :)
Have a great Sunday!

I'm always around and would post on weekends too but people don't read them (as you mentioned) so why let something get lost in the shuffle that I can postpone until the week?
I hope he is feeling much better now!

I broke the rule yesterday. Look at us, living on the edge!
That first photo melted me. I'm a sucker for a pouting baby.

I don't post on the weekend, either, but I do read.

Yay for weekend posts!! Super cute photos. Hope your little cutie is feeling all better.

I read (and occasionally post) on the weekends! Sometimes that the only chance I get!
Love his sad little face. So sweet. Hope he's feeling all smiley again.

Oh, I just posted, and I think that rule is ridiculous. What AM I supposed to read on a Saturday afternoon if all my bloggers are out enjoying life? Hmph.
Posted by: Lindsey | Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 02:14 PM
I was going to post today, and then I started to think that nobody would read it anyway. So, I'm laying on the couch instead.

What? People don't post on weekends? There goes at least half of my posts.
And what else am I going to do while I wait to see that stupid New Moon movie?
Also, Kyle's face breaks my heart. Last week, when D had his I-am-gassy-so-I-will-scream-for-three-hours-straight fest, I took a photo of it and I can't bring myself to post his little, pain-stricken face.

What a sweetpea.
I actually run a weekly feature on my blog on Saturdays! I'm a rebel, I tell ya. Plus, I'm doing NaBloBlowMeMoFoBloPop (known by some as NaBloPoMo), so I'm posting every day this month.

Read this. Smiled and swooned. :)

Omg no, I actually hate the no blogging rule on weekends! I hate having no new material from my favorite bloggers on the weekends, hah.
And how freaking cute/heart breaking is that sad face?!

I read it!!! (Although I've got to admit to not posting on the weekends.)
Kyle's "I miss mom" aka "flu sucks" face just kills me. Such woe! But cute woe!

So sad and so worn out!! Too cute! :) And I read it too!

Aww, what a tragic little face to stumble across on your memory card. So cute!

I love the cheeks in the first picture! You've got both extremes in those two picture - but he's still precious even when crying.

Did you go scoop him up and smooch him all over after seeing those pictures? I would have :)
Also, I am such a loser that I posted on Saturday. At midnight. If that's not a hoppin' social life then I don't know what is.
