Yesterday's post was tough for me. Getting real about things is hard -- harder even than I thought it would be -- so I thank you for your kindness and honesty and I also thank my husband for being the kind of man who would never choose to blog or put his truths online but constantly encourages me to talk about whatever I want or need to.
As cheesy as this sounds, no matter how many wrapped gifts I have or haven't gotten from him, he insists that I write about whatever I want and he loves me for being the insane, insecure, flawed person I am. That's a damn good gift, for sure.
(Thanks, babe.)
In other news, here's me trying to coaxing my child to show off every one of his tricks for the camera. He only obliges me on about 50% of them. Adorable, anyway.
The head shaking IS his idea of dancing, cute little man, because that's (uh, strangely) how I showed him how to dance a few weeks ago. Also, "hello!" is his cue to put his hand (or cup or remote or bagel) up to his ear, like he's on the phone.
He started fake sneezing last week but won't show you that trick.
And to answer your last question: yes, I love him like you wouldn't believe.
How could you not?
